The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Partner Development Manager to help us build and scale our Partnerships organization. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you will be responsible for expanding and deepening our partner ecosystem. Your primary focus will be growing our reach among agency partners while also identifying and developing strategic tech and integration partnerships. You will refine onboarding and enablement resources to ensure partners are engaged, educated, and empowered to drive value for their clients with Intelligems. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and process optimization to increase partner activation and deal volume.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new agency partners. Conduct one-on-one meetings to understand their goals, services, and ICP, and define a collaborative partnership strategy.
  • Improve onboarding and enablement processes to drive higher activation and increase partner-influenced revenue.
  • Develop and execute co-marketing initiatives, lead exchanges, and joint selling efforts in collaboration with internal teams and partners.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key communities, marketplaces, and networks within the Shopify ecosystem to drive mutual growth.
  • Scale and optimize the affiliate partner program to maximize engagement and deal flow.
  • Identify and develop strategic tech and integration partnerships to enhance Intelligems' product ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, partner development, business development, or a related client-facing role. You thrive in a role with frequent partner interactions.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain external relationships with agencies, SaaS companies, and other ecosystem players.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Data-driven mindset with a track record of analyzing your efforts and optimizing strategies.
  • Comfortable working hands-on to solve immediate challenges while also developing scalable processes.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Experience with partner management tools and CRMs (HubSpot preferred) is a plus.
  • Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or an analytics-driven company is a plus.

This is a remote position though occasional travel may be required.
